About

Matt Morris, founder of Evolve Labs

I'm Matt Morris, founder of Evolve Labs. I help businesses actually put AI to work: integrating AI into the processes they run every day, building the tools and documents that make it stick, and training the team to run it without me. The goal is always the same: real hours back on a real process, not a workshop and a pile of good intentions.

Implementation is where we start, not where it ends. Once I understand how your business actually runs, bigger opportunities tend to surface, and when a real solution need is identified, the engagement can extend into custom builds, new tools, and deeper systems. Fix one process well, then scale from there.

Evolve Labs exists to make AI produce real, measurable results inside a business: not a workshop, not a deck, not advice from a distance. I work hands-on, sitting with the people closest to the work, finding what's actually slowing them down, and building what fixes it. The technology serves the outcome, never the other way around.

I solve the problem in front of me completely, and when that surfaces something bigger (a custom build, a new system, a harder problem worth owning), I'm equipped to take it on. Implementation is the foundation. The larger builds are where it leads.

Discovery first. Before I propose anything, I want to understand what's actually broken and why. That's where most of the real thinking happens, and it's the step most people skip.

Then I build, fast, because AI does the heavy lifting on the technical side. That frees me up for the part it can't do: listening, judging what's actually worth building, and making sure the solution fits how your team really works.

And I don't just hand it over. Adoption is the whole point. If the tools don't stick after I leave, the work didn't matter, so I train your people, document the workflow, and leave you something you can run on your own. I take fewer engagements than I could, because the work I take on has to be done well.

Fifteen years in hospitality before this. I started as a server, worked my way through 40+ venues across four states, and finished as a senior client experience lead at one of the highest-revenue venues in Las Vegas, managing relationships with Fortune 500 executives, professional athletes, and public figures. The work taught me how to read a room, how to surface what people actually need, and how to earn trust in environments where there's no margin for being wrong.

In late 2024 I left hospitality to join a boutique AI consulting firm as an implementation consultant. That work pulled me deep into real business operations. Inventory systems, project tracking, executive operations, cross-functional implementation across a complex company. I saw what worked, what failed, and where the gaps were. The technical building came next. I started shipping production software with AI as my technical partner, and I haven't stopped. Today I run multi-tenant production applications, a full-cycle client engagement with our pilot customer, and a growing portfolio of products under Evolve Labs. The combination of fifteen years of high-stakes client work, an intensive year inside real business problems, and hands-on AI-native development is what Evolve Labs runs on.

These are proof, not the pitch. Before I ask anyone to trust me with their process, I've shipped real production software, including the exact kinds of tools an implementation engagement delivers.

Evolve Inventory, a multi-tenant reorder platform live with a real customer, is the same custom tool behind a button that a build engagement ships. Evolve App is a personal growth companion in production. Diamond Data is a baseball analytics platform running a live, multi-source data pipeline. LicenseHub is a full demonstration build of an AI-driven product, from marketing site to working advisor.

Each one started with a real problem and runs in the real world. They're how I know I can build what I propose.

My focus right now is AI implementation and adoption: helping businesses integrate AI into the work they already do, and making it stick. That's the front door, and it's where almost every engagement starts.

Custom solution builds, bespoke tools and products, are still very much on the table. But they tend to grow out of the implementation work, once we've built trust and I understand your business from the inside. Earn the small win first, then take on the bigger build.

The longer, systemic work is years away, and I'm building toward it deliberately. For now, if you've got a process worth fixing, I'd like to hear about it.
